Last night I tuned up the lawn mower (oil change, sharpened the blade, cleaned the air filter). Sometimes I think I’m the only person that ever actually tunes up the lawn mower.
Anyway I then performed the Spring ritual of the first grass cutting. In the process I found two very small rabbits hiding out near the house in the tall grass. They were small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. I relocated both of them to just outside the fence where they would be safe from the mower blades and my dogs. They were just big enough to be okay without their mom (who I didn’t see).
So now summer can officially start!
